This song holds a special place in my heart. And in case you're not familiar with the Pixies the fact that they just hold their mouths open instead of actually singing the words is their idea of a joke.

Pixies factoid: I work at the university Frank Black attended, which is, furthermore, the subject of one of their songs.
Also: In my previous job I wrote an article about famous people who traveled through the area on their way to fame and fortune and interviewed a professor who recalled Frank Black stomping out of his avant garde film class because the movies annoyed him.
Finally: A couple of years ago we went to see a solo Frank Black show, and he walked through the club from the dressing room to the stage. It was kind of crowded and when he walked by Jim, he kind of jostled into him and made Jim spill part of his beer. Because Jim is a huge Pixies nerd, this made his night.
I love this song. It breaks my heart and makes me feel elated at the same time. Thanks for the happy/sad nostalgia trip, Mama D.
One of my top 5 songs from one of my top 5 bands. Thanks Mama D.
