I thought this video was really good. I really like Craig Ferguson a lot and after seeing this I not only think he's funny but I have so much respect for him.
I have been extremely disturbed by how the media made light of the whole 'Britney Spears gone wild' weekend. When I heard about the head shaving thing my curiosity got the better of me and I looked at the pictures on the internet. I felt sick. You could just tell by looking at her that she was in serious trouble.
I'm not her biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination and I'm not about to make excuses for her behavior but I think it's pretty obvious that she needs help. I can relate to this. I'm not going to shave my head or anything but I think perhaps I can understand what made her feel like doing it. And the fact that the media is treating her very public breakdown like a big joke is awful. What's worse is that a lot of people are eating it up. We are being brainwashed into thinking stuff that is horrible and totally messed up is actually funny and entertaining. I think Craig Ferguson says it better that I do so I'll leave it to him...

I adore Craig Ferguson. I must have missed watching this day. Good stuff. Britney definitely needs some help.
Yeah... I have seen this one. I don't attend AA meetings anymore, but I certainly work a program, and count my sobriety birthdays, so I am a little extra sad about Brit having to do this with so many witnesses to her whatever-it-is she is doing. I had far fewer, and far kinder witnesses to what I did, and it STILL really sucked.
He's awesome! I think it's brave of him to say all that.
I too am worried for Britney Spears. She's had an usual life, and now who knows what can help her. Her poor children. They're the ones I think of when I read/hear/see more mockery of her in the media.
