And The Countdown Begins

I'm not thinking about how much there is to do before the weekend. I'm not. And comparatively, I probably don't even have half as much stuff to do as the rest of you out there.

It wouldn't be so bad if we weren't going away for Christmas. Even though I'm totally happy that we'll be spending Christmas with Peter's family it'll be a lot more work than staying home would be. And I work. All day Monday, off Tuesday, working Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And right after work on Saturday we'll be leaving. Peter won't be putting Miss A down for her nap so that she'll sleep on the road. So I will have to be organized enough to basically come home pack the last few items and we'll go.

I haven't wrapped anything yet and I have to decide which of A's gifts I am going to bring with us for her to open. Some will just have to wait until we get home.

Maybe I'm feeling overwhelmed because I'm sick with a cold. I keep telling myself it's a good thing because that means I'll be feeling better by Christmas. Knowing my colds I doubt it. By Sunday night I should be in the full on barking cough stage. Awesome!

I am a bundle of joy I know. Bah Humbug and stuff. But really, I'm fine. Just tired. And anticipating a lot more tired to come...

Maybe this picture will make up for my downer mood.
