Sleeping
Is there anything more beautiful than a sleeping child? Especially when it's your child. Because when they are sleeping they aren't crying. Or whining. Or sassing. Or turning their nose up at the food you made. Or saying "No". They are just quiet. And their small relaxed faces remind you that perhaps it wasn't the worst idea you ever had to go ahead and make babies.
And these moments are pretty good too.

Ahhhh! So beautiful, and wuff... I hear ya on the whining and crying and following you around to cry at you! And the turning up of the noses.
Sleeping though? I might just let them live after all.
You are right, sleeping little angels are heart-warming. You love them so, so very much while watching their breath go quietly, peacefully. And then you quickly tiptoe away and hope that won't wake them up. Because you know what THAT would mean...

I love these photos, but I think I might love that first paragraph even more. Because seriously, lately I fee like the only time my kids aren't saying "no" or saying "yuck" or grabbing at each other or hitting each other or laughing in my face as they continue to do whatever it is I am telling them to stop doing...
aaaaaahhhhh. I took a picture of them both sleeping the other day too. They're sweet boys...:)
