Experience?

Has anyone had any experience with, say, how many Christmas oranges (or ornanges) is too many in one day? (for a 2 year old) So far I don't think we've gone over three in one day. But that is not with serious distraction. I'm slightly concerned that we could have a blow out over here.

And also, any suggestions on how to keep said toddler from putting another piece of orange in her mouth before she's swallowed the first?

Hahahahaha! No! You have me on that one, no experience whatsoever!

As far as the multiple sections in the yap at once? You may have to resign yourself to doling them out one at a time.

Huh. My kid is having the opposite problem thanks to a combo of eggnog, chocolate and cheese, which has thoroughly stopped up her works, so maybe you could try feeding A one of those, to counteract the oranges...

hey Dawn...
the oranges won't hurt her,
but she may have acidic poo...
and may say it hurts to poo...and i should know cause i've had to deal with both of the girls obsessively eating those oranges..not so much now that they're a bit older but...

I think my record is sixteen tangerines divided among five kids in one snacktime. My fingers hurt for days from peeling so many.

Yup, just watch the poo. :)

How about a side of bananas to go with the oranges? No clue on how to slow down the snarfing. :) Hope everything was fine in the end! (no pun intended)
